Siskin Steel is a company with a rich heritage. For a full history of our company and its founders click here. It is a century-old business that processes and distributes steel and aluminum products throughout the Southeastern United States. Siskin began as a scrap company in 1900 and began service center operations in 1949. Today Siskin Steel operates four modern metal service centers in: Chattanooga and Nashville, Tennessee; Birmingham, Alabama; and Spartanburg, South Carolina. The original scrap division was sold in 1990 in order to concentrate on the metal service center business.
Siskin Steel has an old-fashioned concern for its customers and values its employees as its most important assets. The company provides jobs for over 480 people and nearly half of the current company employees have worked for the company for ten or more years.
