An aluminum sheet is a hot dip coated on both sides with aluminum-silicon using the continuous method. The satin coating combines the strength of steel and the flexibility of aluminum. This unique combination of properties allows the material to remain thin while protecting against corrosion. Easy handling, transportation, and installation are made possible by the material’s thinness, contributing to its widespread use. Our on-hand inventory includes ASTM 3003H14 and 5052H32.

The 3003 Aluminum Sheet offers good weldability and formability because it is softer compared to other aluminum alloys. Its moderate strength is suitable for applications where high strength is not critical.

5052 aluminum sheet can be easily formed and welded but is more difficult to machine because of its strength. Compared to 3003, 5052 is stronger and has better corrosion resistance, which is ideal for marine applications.
