Stainless sheet is widely used for high corrosion resistance, strength, and hygienic properties. The primary alloying elements in stainless steel are iron and chromium. Iron and chromium provide a protective layer to increase strength and corrosion resistance, enhancing the material’s longevity. In addition to its longevity, stainless steel has a sleek appearance that many manufacturers prefer. Stainless steel can be used in equipment, construction, and food handling.

The 304 stainless steel sheet is similar to other stainless steel shapes and is challenging to machine, but easier to weld.

The 316 Stainless Sheet is not easily machinable or weldable. However, forming 316 stainless sheet metal is significantly easier.
