Sheet metal is a flat-rolled product ranging in thickness from 24 ga – 7 ga in carbon steel and stainless steel and from 0.016” – 0.250” in aluminum. Sheet metal is stocked in carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Sheet metal is used for many applications and is used to make many of the products we use every day, from dishwashers and refrigerators to cars and stop signs. Sheet is either cold rolled or hot rolled in production at the mill. Stainless sheet comes in a 2b mill finish but can also be polished to several different levels of Ra.
